Playing on a Nonstop night

On a Nonstop Courts night there are no rounds. Each court starts its next game as soon as it is free, so keep your score link open (or allow notifications) and your phone will tell you where to go.

When you're called

Your phone buzzes with "Court 3 — you're up", and the TV shows "Now calling: Court 3". Your score page shows your court, your partner and your opponents, and the game number. On a Pods night it counts your pod's games instead: Game 2/5 is your pod's second game of five. A court may be called "Court 1a" or "1b" on your phone: the letter is your side of the net.

When you're waiting

Off court, your score page tells you what you are waiting for:

• Waiting for a Court: you're free, and the next game that needs you will call you.
• You're up next or You're in line: your next game is planned, and the page says who or what it is waiting for.
• The next games start when 4 courts are free: the next games are mixed together as soon as enough courts finish.
• You sit this one: in a pod of 5, everyone sits out one game.
• Your pod is done: you've played every game of your pod. Your pod's results appear on the page.

On a Pods night, tap Your pod's games below your card to see the scores of your pod's games so far and the pod's win–loss table.

Reporting your score

When your game ends, one player from either team reports the score on their phone. That frees the court for the next game right away.

If the other team reported first, you'll get a "confirm your score" buzz. Confirm it if it's right, or dispute it if it isn't. Until your team does one or the other, you won't be called for your next game. One of you confirming is enough. On a Pods night your whole pod waits for it, and your pod-mates' phones show who they're waiting on. A dispute goes to the organizer, and you keep playing while they sort it out.

If your organizer is not recording scores, or enters them for you, tap Game finished when your game ends instead. Your page says which: "No scores tonight" or "Your organizer enters the scores tonight".

Sitting out or leaving

Use your check-in page as usual to sit out a game, come back or leave. In a pod, your organizer decides, because leaving changes your pod's games: your request waits for them.
