How free years work
- Share your referral link, or invite organizers through the Scheduler.
- Each organizer you refer counts once — the first time they upgrade to a paid plan or use the Scheduler to invite players. They don’t have to be paying.
- Every 2 organizers you refer = 1 free year added to your plan.
- Free years start landing once you’ve made your first annual payment — referrals you earn before then are banked and applied automatically.
- On a free account (including founding free-for-life accounts)? You can gift an earned free year to a friend on a paid plan instead — up to 2 gifts per year. Gifts are claimed by email and expire if unclaimed (your referrals are then returned).
- Offer terms may change or end at any time; free years already granted are yours to keep.

Is PickleMixer free?
Yes — the mixer itself is completely free for 4–150 players, with no signup and no credit card, and it works offline. A free account adds saved rosters, manual ratings, and rating-balanced mixing for one group of up to 19 players. Recording game scores, ladder leagues, and higher limits are paid features; paid plans lift those limits.
What do Lite, Pro and Club cost?
Lite is $19/year (about $1.58/month, billed annually) and scales the mixer up to 100 saved players across 5 groups, keeping ratings and rating-balanced mixing. Pro is $39/year (about $3.25/month, billed annually) and adds score tracking, ladder leagues, and three sub-organizers, plus unlimited players and groups. Club is $59/year (about $4.92/month, billed annually) and adds unlimited sub-organizers; it is required for commercial or for-profit club use. All paid plans — Lite, Pro, and Club — start with a 10-day free trial.
What's the difference between Lite and Pro?
Lite is the mixer at fuller scale for casual play — up to 100 saved players and 5 groups, with ratings and rating-balanced mixing — but it does not record game scores or run ladder leagues. Pro adds score tracking (recording game results, remote score links, and public ratings built from games), ladder leagues, and sub-organizers, with unlimited players and groups.
What counts as a sub-organizer?
A sub-organizer is another logged-in user you invite to help run your groups — they manage players, run mixers, enter scores, and manage events from their own account. Pro includes three; Club includes unlimited.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted. If a paid plan lapses you keep everything you have created — you just cannot add beyond the free limits again until you renew.
Do players need to pay or sign up?
No. Players never need an account or a payment. They join sessions, RSVP to events, and enter their own scores from a link. Pricing applies only to the organizer running the group.
