Score Tracker

Pickleball score tracker.

Players enter scores from their own phones. Results sync live to the mixer, ratings update automatically, and the next round can mix itself. No signup for players, no organizer data entry. A Pro feature with a 10-day free trial.

// 01 How it works

Four steps to player-entered scores.

  1. i.

    Organizer mixes a round

    Courts and teams are published from the mixer in one tap.

  2. ii.

    Each player gets their own link

    A private link per player, handed out by QR code or email. It opens to just their court — the matchup and a simple score-entry form.

  3. iii.

    Players submit

    No app, no signup. The score is locked to that round via a one-time token.

  4. iv.

    Ratings update, next mix uses them

    Elo refreshes the moment scores arrive. With Headless Mode enabled, the next round mixes itself as soon as the last court reports.

// 02 Why self-scoring

Why player-entered scores beat organizer data entry.

The traditional model — one organizer collecting scores between rounds, typing them into a spreadsheet, then mixing the next round — is the bottleneck of every league night. The organizer can't play, can't socialize, and the group waits.

With self-scoring, every court reports independently in seconds. The organizer plays. The next round mixes itself. The group never stops moving.

8 questions
Q.01 How do players enter their own scores?
When the organizer publishes a round, each player gets their own private link — handed out by QR code or email. They open it on their phone, see just their court, type the final score, and submit. No app install, no login — just a tap-friendly form in the browser.
Q.02 Do players need an account to enter scores?
No. Score entry uses one-time tokens tied to the round, so players record results from their phones without ever signing up or paying. The organizer enables score tracking on a Pro plan; players themselves never need an account.
Q.03 What if a player enters the wrong score?
Organizers can edit any score at any time from the dashboard. Ratings recalculate automatically when scores change. Players can also re-submit if the round is still open — the latest entry wins.
Q.04 Does the score tracker update ratings automatically?
Yes. Recorded scores feed an Elo-style rating system. Beat a higher-rated opponent and you gain more points; lose to a lower-rated one and you drop further. Margin of victory matters too — blowouts move ratings more than close games. The next mix uses the updated ratings to balance teams. See the rating-balanced randomizer.
Q.05 Can I see live results during a session?
Yes. Big Screen Mode displays the current round on a TV or projector and updates as scores come in. With Headless Mode enabled, the system also auto-finalizes the round and mixes the next one as soon as every court has reported — fully hands-free.
Q.06 Does it work for tournaments and ladder leagues?
Yes. The same self-scoring flow works for casual mixing nights, structured ladder leagues with promotion and relegation, and one-off events. Ladder Elo ratings, decay, and division standings all update from the same player-entered scores. See how ladder leagues work.
Q.07 What does the score tracker cost?
Score tracking is a Pro feature, available on the Pro and Club plans with a 10-day free trial — there are never any per-player fees or ads. The mixer itself stays free for 4–150 players, and players always enter their own scores for free without an account.
Q.08 What about privacy — what happens to player data?
Player names and scores are stored against your group only. There's no third-party tracking, no data sold, and no ads. Players who only enter scores never create an account at all.
