Round-robin tournament leaderboard: winner, top scorer and final results
Rank a one-day round robin on your group's Standings page: switch Rank by to cumulative points, pick a tiebreak, keep practice games out of the count, and check every score was saved before you name the winner.
The ranked list for your event is the Standings page in your group's dashboard sidebar. Once the page is on, the Mixer's score screen links to it too (Standings → in the footer), so you can open it the moment the last court saves. It fills in from the scores you save in the Mixer, and Rank by in Group Settings decides whether it orders players by rating or by points. Here is how to get a clean final list for a one-day round robin.
Turn on the Standings page
Open Group Settings, go to the Ratings tab, and under Public Visibility tick Enable standings page. Save, and a link appears. Anyone with it can view the page, read-only and without a login, and it works well on a phone. Player names picks First name and last initial or Full names.
Once your group has a recorded game, Standings also shows in the sidebar and on the dashboard home even while the page is off, marked Off. Tapping it opens a short notice, and Set it up takes you to this setting.
More about the page, including the embed for a club website, is in Public ratings page.
Rank by points
By default the page ranks by Elo rating, which does not show a tournament-style points total. On the Ratings tab, under Rating System, set Rank by: to Cumulative points (total points earned). A second choice appears, Points are counted as:
- Gross points scored (every point your side wins)
- Net differential (points for − against)
- Win tally (2 per win, 1 per loss)
Save, and the main column on the page reads Points. The totals are worked out from the saved games each time the page loads, so you can switch Rank by whenever you like and the numbers are complete right away.
Switch whenever you like, even before the first game: the totals are complete at any time, and live points on a screen during the event work from the first saved score. In a plain group, the Mix button keeps balancing on Elo ratings after the switch. Points reach the mixing itself only in groups where fixed partners are tracked as teams and in headless auto-mix.
Groups with fixed partners tracked as teams get a Teams tab listing each pair, with the same ranking choices. Ladder leagues always rank by Elo.
Ties and fair comparison
Still on the Ratings tab, Standings columns has Rating and Games played toggles, then a table of stats with a Session and Season checkbox each: Record, Win %, Avg point differential, Total point differential, Points for (PF), Avg points for, Points against (PA), Avg points against, Avg Δ, Streak.
Under it, Default sort: picks the main order (Automatic is the Points column when ranking by points) and Then by: breaks ties in it. Only ticked columns can be chosen, so tick the tiebreak column first. A common setup is Default sort Automatic, Then by Season Total ± (the Season tick on Total point differential). Viewers can re-sort for themselves, but the page opens in your order.
Total points reward whoever played more games. On 4 courts for 6 games, 24 players share 96 seats, so everyone should play 4 games, but with other sizes or a dropout some play one more than others. When counts differ, rank by an average instead: Avg PF or Avg ±, or Win %. Keep Games played on so people can see why.
Keep other games out of the count
Cumulative points add up every recorded game in the group, including practice games and last month's nights. Season columns do the same. There is no date filter. Three ways to get a list that is only the event:
- Run the event in its own group. Nothing else can count. A free account holds one group; Lite holds five; Pro and Club have no limit.
- Use the Session columns. They cover only the group's most recent Mixer launch that has saved games. Tick a stat in the Session column, such as Points for (PF), set Default sort to it (the menu calls it Session PF), and untick Rating if you'd rather the page didn't lead with a different number. Two things to know: a practice game saved in the same launch, or a game added on the Games page for the same day, is still part of the session, and if you restarted the Mixer mid-event, Session covers only the part after the restart. As soon as the group plays again, Session moves on to the new night.
- Delete the practice games. On the dashboard Games page, filter by date, click a game, and delete it from its rating details panel. Deleting also reverses that game's effect on ratings and asks Isolate or Cascade. It's one game at a time (Bulk Edit has no delete), and you can't delete while other games are still pending; wait a minute. See Managing games.
Before you name the winner
Only saved, processed games count, so check that every score made it in:
- In the Mixer's score screen each saved court shows ✓ Saved (or ⚠ Saved, which means the result is safe and only the ratings hadn't refreshed). The footer counter reads like 3 not saved · 1 still 0–0 · 1 skipped until it says All courts saved. A court marked Skip game or left at 0–0 is not recorded by Save All.
- Scores from players' phones count once both teams agree (Confirmed). Waiting and Disputed courts aren't recorded yet.
- A saved game counts about a minute later, once the background job has processed it. The Games page shows a pending count among its top stats; wait for it to reach 0.
- Do the arithmetic: courts × games is the number of games you expect, 24 for 4 courts and 6 games. The Games page lists them, and the Standings page says above the list when the last session was played and how many games it held.
- Missed one? Add Custom Game on the Games page records it. A past date prompts Isolate or Cascade.
Editing or deleting a game reaches the Standings page within about a minute.
What you need
Score entry is part of Pro and up, and included free for your first month with an account. Any tier can switch the Standings page on, but it stays empty until scores are recorded. A free account holds up to 19 players in a group; Lite raises that to 100, and Pro and Club have no limit, so a 24-player event is above the free player limit. Scores are recorded under a group while signed in; the anonymous Mixer has no standings.
