// 02 Real teams, real-world chaos

The live mixer keeps your partners together when it matters.

A printed team schedule assumes everyone arrives on time, no team leaves early, and rating gaps don't matter. PickleMixer keeps your fixed partners together but adapts when those assumptions break.

// 03 FAQ

12-team round-robin questions.

5 questions
Q.01 How many rounds does a 12-team round robin take?
A complete 12-team round robin takes 11 rounds — each team plays each other team exactly once. Use the schedule above to see the full pairings.
Q.02 What if a team drops out mid-night?
A printed schedule becomes invalid the moment a team leaves. The live mixer just removes the team from the rotation and continues — partners stay locked, sit-outs rebalance.
Q.03 Can I mix fixed partners with regular rotating players?
Yes — that's actually the most common case. Pin a few couples or training partners as fixed teams, leave the rest as solo players, and the mixer handles both at once. The free downloadable schedule above assumes all players have a fixed partner.
Q.04 Can I print this schedule and use it without the mixer?
Yes — that is the point of the PDF and Excel downloads above. Each round lists the team-vs-team matchups by court, with sit-outs derived from whichever team is missing that round. Label your teams T1 through T12 and you are done.
Q.05 What about uneven team ratings?
In team mode the live mixer can match each fixed team against an opposing team of similar combined rating. The static download shows a fair partner-rotation schedule but doesn't consider ratings — for that, use the live mixer.

Print it. Or live-mix it.

The PDF and Excel files are free. The live team mixer is also free — and it adapts when teams drop or rating gaps appear.
